I was visiting the new modern art wing of the Art Institute and was drawn to this woman reading her brochure. She could have been an exhibit. It was as though she was frozen in time . . . now she is!

A Beautiful Flower

Staci & Christopher's Wedding
July 25th, 2009 - The morning paper said it would be cloudy with thunderstorms most of the day but the rain stayed away long enough for a beautiful ceremony, a butterfly release and a chance to get some great pictures before the sky opened up with showers. Staci, Chris and the wedding party took shelter in a gazebo to wait for a brief cloud burst to pass. It was the perfect day for a wedding.

Amanda & Jason's Wedding
July 18, 2009 - It was a beautiful day for a July wedding. The temperature was around 70 degrees and a little overcast which was perfect for outdoor photos. It started to drizzle which cut our outdoor shooting short, but everyone in the wedding party was a real trooper and "braved the elements". That sounds weird for mid-July doesn't it?
